Aventura |
|
HistoryAventura is a planned community that was developed in the seventies and eighties. Prior to this time, it was mainly swampland and was called Biscayne Gardens. Originally a suburb of Miami, Aventura became a separate city in 1995, but it still uses many Miami-Dade city and county services. Aventura is well known for upscale shopping, including the luxury department stores at the Aventura Mall. It is the place that Miami residents come to for the high end lifestyle we all aspire to. Aventura rentals are increasingly in demand as more and more people move to this popular and upwardly mobile area. DescriptionAventura is an upscale neighborhood near Miami that offers small town safety with the comfort and luxury of a large city. Spanish for ‘adventure’, this neighborhood boasts warm tropical weather, luxury shopping, and some of Florida’s best schools. Many people who are interested in Miami rentals find that Aventura has everything they are looking for and more. Aventura is very near to Miami’s well known hot spots, but it offers
plenty of close-to-home entertainment as well. Upscale shopping can be
found at the Aventura Mall and the 127th Street Shopping Center. The
Turnberry Isle Country Club offers a fun day in the outdoors. Condo
rentals overlooking Maule Lake and Little Lake Maule, both popular
recreation areas, are particularly in demand. Mediterranean décor is
popular throughout, perhaps due to the tropical weather, but there are
many modern buildings as well.
ResidentsOf the less than 30,000 residents of Aventura, about forty percent are married couples while almost half lived alone. Earnings are above both state and national averages, with a low percentage of people under the poverty level and little homelessness.
